Abstract
Understanding the specific mechanism of pedestrian deceleration behavior can better provide data support and parameter calibration for pedestrian flow simulation. In this paper, by introducing a buffer space, designed the pedestrians walking single file experiment and field observation, has obtained the pedestrian buffer space data under different speed, speed - buffer space mathematical model is established, the results show that the pedestrian expected speed and size of the buffer space were positively correlated, pedestrian movement normally, their relation can be used on the two lower limit function, said In the running state, it can be represented by a linear function.
